There is a big difference between kinetic and potential energy. We can store our potential power within us, and once triggered by its dynamic nature, it becomes available fuel for all our actions.
We can release and convert our invisible potential power only when there is a given meaning that triggers the event. Like a parachute that gets opened by pulling a lever. It spent most of its life in a potential condition: packed. You need to open it at a precise altitude in order for it to carry out its job.
Because we humans do not alter our physical aspects while transitioning from a still state to a dynamic one, what is the trick that allows us to hold the energy within and deploy it at the right time?
It depends on the task performed. Generally, a humble attitude may favour the silence mode, while a more chin-up and chest-out attitude switches to the kinetic mode. The senses trigger the movements of our mind. To reduce its stimuli, it may also favour a reduced consumption of energy and a more tranquil state.
A question may arise: which state should I prefer and why? Because we use our energy when we need it, the question may be translated as: How do I know when I need to unleash the power?
There is no such thing as an absolute answer. You can opt for quiet situations rather than chaotic ones first. Then, once in a quiet place, it is convenient to reduce mental activity. Solitude with a blabbering mind is counterproductive.
If there isn’t work to do, the mind usually gets irritated. Here, the point would be to find the job that best suits you. What do you like doing?
Working is a very good idea to maximise one’s potential. Experimenting with different scenarios may also help us understand ourselves.
