Simple things are the best because they can reach a greater number of users and require low effort to understand. Translated, everybody likes it. If the content is well structured, not trivial, and targeted in its context, it can have a great impact on someone’s business. It can work for blog posts, a business mentality, or an attitude towards former employees, to name a few. Some guidelines are the following:

MAKE IT CONSISTENT

In order to generate complex thoughts, a basement is required. Can you build a skyscraper without foundations? Simplicity grants access to a higher perspective: once a few simple things are created, they can be linked together, creating a more complex pattern. All businesses start with a simple idea that sparks enthusiasm essentially first, and then move to a more articulated weave. From simple to complex, it’s a matter of strategy.

NOT TRIVIAL BUT DEEP

Simple communication attracts more consumers. Let’s use the example of a business owner who wants to give instructions on a project. The problems are two:

  1. The concept is too sophisticated and cannot be broken down into simple ideas. Better review it, I may have missed something that links things together differently. Like in a puzzle, things have to match correctly, or else the whole picture breaks up.
  2. The concept is simple, but the lack of enthusiasm to further connect it. It is better to change strategy and re-do things from scratch, which will enhance the chances of engaging from a different perspective. Try to get to the core of things by asking yourself:
    • Why am I thinking about it?
    • What do I gain out of it?
    • Who is going to benefit from it?
    • Can I make it simpler?

CHEER UP!

Under any circumstances, particularly if you are the business owner, it is important to show enthusiasm and an elegantly humoristic attitude. Both towards yourself and towards the working environment. Try to enjoy the workplace without disrespecting other colleagues. It is important to understand the limit to how far you can push yourself without crossing borders. Do not be afraid to make mistakes. Everybody deserves a second chance!

CENTERING

People notice the mistakes immediately, not the correct behaviour. It takes time to realize the rightness of a behaviour, because it is centered. Like the center of a wheel, it will remain fixed and not move while the wheel rotates. But it moves in a straight line, as shown in green in this post picture. In the same way, having a solid and centered behavior allows you to move faster, avoiding unnecessary waste of energy. (For some maths about the post picture check here).
